It can cause adhesive failures, bubbling, curling, make it easier for mold and mildew to grow, That’s why we take the necessary precautions needed while installing your floors. To help prevent these problems we’ll look for any potential issues during installation so your floors will last for the maximum period of time. We’ll treat your concrete with moisture preventatives during your new flooring installation. Here are a few methods we use to prevent moisture in your floors:
- Install a top-of-the-line vapor barrier
- Use a low cement/water mixture
- Once your concrete is set, we’ll scarify the surface to ensure there’s a good bond with the floor
- We won’t re-wet the slab
- Use a high-quality HVAC system
